V-belt Kubota 17472-97010 is a spare part for the D902 engine. The part is used in the fan drive unit in conjunction with the pulley part (model No. 16875-74280, see diagram from "Diesel parts D902"). The engine serves as the generator drive mechanism in a Shindaiwa DGW400 diesel welder.

According to the technical service regulations of the Shindaiwa DGW400, the V-belt must be replaced every 400 hours of operation or after 2 years. Depending on the intensity and operating conditions, the fan belt may wear faster. Therefore, the manufacturer recommends having an additional spare part 17472-97010 in the kit.
