Tempilstik - Temperature indicator LA-CO Industries

Tempilstik Temperature Indicator Stick is designed for quick measurement of temperature on the metal surface in the range from +100°F (38°C) to 1999,4°F (1093°C) during welding, metalworking, soldering, etc. The accuracy of control is ±3% of the measured value.

Temperature Indicator Stick is a lightweight rod made of lacopolymer composite, mounted in a metal case. The Tempilstik indicator is equipped with a rod lock and a pocket holder, slip resistant.

The rod melts at a preset temperature, called the rating of the pencil indicator. The rating is shown on the product case.

Working principle of Tempilstik.

Using a Tempilstik Temperature Indicator Stick (of appropriate denomination), apply a mark to the observed surface. The mark applied to the surface melts when the nominal temperature is reached. With a further increase in temperature, the label polymerizes and hardens.

After cooling the surface, the mark remains. It can be removed using abrasive materials.
